Next, pour the milk into a milk frother, such as the Melitta Montalatte, and add a few drops of green food coloring to infuse your drink with a festive touch. Select the "Cold Froth" setting on your milk frother to create a creamy foam. Once the milk is frothed, pour the milk foam into the tall glass. To add the pistachio flavor, add some pistachio syrup to the cooled espresso. Stir the coffee and pistachio syrup until they are thoroughly mixed. Gently pour the coffee into the tall glass. If desired, top your iced coffee creation with a dollop of whipped cream to enhance its creaminess. Finally, sprinkle some crushed pistachios on top as garnish, adding a delightful crunch and intensifying the pistachio flavor. 2 shots of espresso
1/4 cup of pistachio syrup
1/2 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Ice cubes
Whipped cream (optional)
Green food coloring (optional)
Crushed pistachios (for garnish)
Brew 2 shots of espresso and let it cool down.
Fill the tall glass with ice cubes.
Pour ½ cup of milk into the Montalatte, add a few drops of green food coloring to give your drink a festive St. Patrick's Day touch, then select “Cold Froth”.
Pour the milk foam into the tall glass.
Add ¼ cup of pistachio syrup to the espresso. Adjust the amount according to your taste preferences. If you want a stronger pistachio flavor, you can add more syrup.
Stir the coffee and pistachio syrup together until well combined.
Slowly pour the coffee into the tall glass.
If you like, top your iced coffee with whipped cream for added creaminess.
Sprinkle some crushed pistachios on top as a garnish. It adds a nice crunch and enhances the pistachio flavor.
