A Ghostly Mocha is a fun and festive coffee drink inspired by Halloween. It combines the rich flavors of coffee and cocoa, creating a delicious mocha base topped with fluffy whipped cream. The twist comes from its spooky presentation, where mini chocolate chips are used to create ghostly faces on the whipped cream. This drink not only tastes great but also adds a playful, seasonal touch to your coffee experience, making it perfect for Halloween gatherings or just to enjoy during the spooky season!
To make a Ghostly Mocha, start by brewing a cup of strong coffee. In a small saucepan, combine the brewed coffee with two tablespoons of cocoa powder and one to two tablespoons of sugar, heating the mixture over medium-low heat while stirring until the cocoa and sugar dissolve completely. In a separate saucepan, heat one cup of milk until it's hot but not boiling, then froth it using a frother or whisk. Once the mocha base is ready, pour it into a large mug and slowly add the frothed milk on top, stirring gently to combine. Generously top the drink with whipped cream, and use mini chocolate chips to create ghostly faces on the whipped cream. Serve immediately and enjoy this spooky seasonal treat! For an extra twist, consider adding a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for decoration.

Wabilogic
1 cup of strong coffee (espresso works well)
2 tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
1-2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup of milk (whole, almond, or any preferred type)
Whipped Cream (For the topping)
Chocolate Chips (For decoration)
Brew your coffee using your preferred method. If you have an espresso machine, make a shot or two for a stronger flavor.
In a small saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, cocoa powder, and sugar.
Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring until the cocoa powder and sugar are fully dissolved.
In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
Use the Melitta Montalatte frother or whisk to create frothed milk. If you don’t have a frother, you can shake the milk vigorously in a jar before heating.
Once the cocoa-coffee mixture is heated, pour it into a large mug.
Slowly add the frothed milk on top, stirring gently to combine.
Generously top the mocha with whipped cream. Use mini chocolate chips to create ghostly faces on top of the whipped cream. You can use two chips for the eyes and one for the mouth.
