(1) Your coffee maker brews longer than it used to.
(2) When you see the CALC/DECALC button is illuminated.
(3) More steam and noise during the brewing process
If any of these symptoms occur with your coffee machine, we recommend descaling the machine immediately. Otherwise your machine may become blocked by limescale deposits and break down. With very severe limescale deposits the above-mentioned symptoms may persist after the first descaling process. If this is the case, we recommend you repeat the descaling process using a suitable descaler.
Regular descaling will extend your coffee machine’s service life.
Some of our coffee makers have a water hardness selector. This not only reminds you to descale your coffee maker, it also provides you with optimal support during the descaling process. This ensures that your coffee maker works perfectly.
Please note that repairing damage caused by calcification is not covered by the warranty.
Follow the manufacturer instructions regarding the amounts and pour the descaling agent into the water tank. Or we recommed fill up the water tank with half a tank of white vinegar and top it off with clean water. Please do not exceed the MAX level.
1. Press the CALC button, the button will start blinking.
2. The descaling process will run automatically. To remove stubborn limescale the descaling process takes 25 minutes. The remaining time is shown on the display.
3. When the descaling process is completed the light on the CALC button will go off. The coffee maker will turn off automatically.
4. At the end of the descaling process, the coffee maker should be rinsed through TWICE, using the maximum amount of water without coffee. This will remove any remaining limescale or mineral deposits.
Attention: Only by carrying out the descaling process completely will all limescale or mineral deposits be removed and the light on the CALC button will go off. The descaling process should therefore not be interrupted before it has run for the full 25 minutes.

Number of cups means only affects the amount of beans that are ground by the grinder and NOT on the amount of water that is brewed. By selecting the number of cups, you determine the amount of coffee beans that the grinder grinds. Your coffeemaker always uses the total amount of water that is in the water tank.
Note: Make sure that you fill the water tank with the correct amount of water for the cups of coffee you want to brew
Some of our coffeemakers are equipped with the "Aroma Control“ button. The "Aroma Control" gives you full aroma and the best flavor even with small amounts of coffee. The "Aroma Control" feature matches the brewing to smaller amounts of coffee, so that the coffee has enough time to release its full flavor and aroma.
Please refer to instruction manual how to set the Aroma Control.
Never pour water or allow water to get into the bean container. The container leads directly to the grinder and moisture in the grinder can lead to clogs and back up in the grinder and hindering the coffee maker.
We recommend cleaning the bean container, the grinder and the ground coffee chute regularly to avoid clogging.
For the best coffee flavor we recommend cleaning the bean container, the grinder and the ground coffee chute regularly. This is easier when the bean container and the grinder are completely empty, carafe is being removed from the coffee maker and the swivel filter basket is completely empty.
Please check instruction manual for detail and pictures

The number of cups means the amount of beans that is grounded by the grinder but NOT the amount of water that is brewed. By selecting the number of cups, you can decide the amount of coffee beans that the grinder grinds. Your coffeemaker always depletes the amount of water that you put into in the water tank.
Note: Make sure to fill the water tank with the amount of water that is corresponding to the number of cups you want to brew
Some of our coffeemakers are equipped with the "Coffee Strength“ feature. You can select different level of coffee strengthness by pressing the "Coffee Strength" button. The number of coffee bean shown on the dispaly reflect the coffee strength from mild to strong.
Please refer to instruction manual on how to set the "Coffee Strength".
Never use freezed, dried or caramelized coffee beans in the grinder. They may block the grinder.
Only fill enough coffee beans in the container which will be used within a few days.
Coffee oils can build up in the ridges of the bean container and thus causes problem in feeding the beans. If oily beans are used more consistently with your machine, then the bean container will require more frequent cleaning.

Please refer to below reason:
1) Clean your glass brewing tank:
(i) Clean your glass brewing tank with 100ml (~3.5oz) of white vinegar. Note: Do not exceed 120ml of white vinegar to avoid activating the siphon effect.
(ii) Let it sit for 15 minutes.
(iii) Pour away the vinegar
(iv) Rinse thoroughly your glass brewing tank with clean water before your next coffee brewing.
2) Empty your glass brewing tank from your last brew. Recommed to rinse your glass brewing tank before your next coffee brewing.
Download the digital copy of quick start guide here.
Please follow the below cleaning direction for different part of Senz V™:
1) Glass brewing tank and ceramic filter:
You may put your glass brewing tank and ceramic filter under running water to wash off the left coffee.
Note: Do not use metallic cleaning brush to clean it. Otherwise, the connection pin at the bottom of the glass brewing tank will be damaged.
2) Plastic holder, wooden stands and scale:
Use a slightly damp towel to clean the parts.
Note: Beware when you clean the scale. Do not press your Senz V™ when cleaning.
3) Glass carafe:
Rinse your glass carafe with clean water. Beware when you clean, do not soak the wooden handle.
1) There is a very sensitive sensor "Load cell", inside lower part of the Senz V™. The load cell require flat and stable environment to perform accurate result. Therefore, we highly recommend user to place your Senz V™ on a even and steady surface.
2) Avoid using your Senz V™ when the grinder, espresso machine or blender is also operating. These may interfere the scale accuracy if the counter top is not steady.
3) Avoid strong wind near your Senz V™ when it is operating, the load cell is easily affected by the wind and cause unstable reading.
These below factors will affect the coffee taste result:
1. Coarseness of the coffee ground
2. Water temperature
3. Pour over brewing process (time to pour and steep)
4. Cleanliness of your glass brewing tank. Recommend to clean or rinse before use.
5. Type and quality of filter paper. Recommend to use Melitta® #2 Paper Filter.
1) Pour at least 150ml (5.2oz) or *more to activate the siphon effect. The coffee dripping will start when the siphon effect is activated.
2) Coarseness of the coffee ground. Do not use too fine coffee ground (like espresso coffee ground).
* Depending on the coarseness of the coffee ground. For less coarse coffee ground, pour more than 150ml.
There are several factors affecting low or zero TDS, such as below:
1) Coffee/Liquid left inside the buffer tank -
Please empty the buffer tank (recommend to rinse with clean water) every time before brewing coffee. If there is coffee residue left inside the buffer tank, the liquid will affect the TDS result in 2 ways:
First, the liquid may dilute the coffee and cause lighter result.
Second, the liquid may cause the siphon effect to activate earlier than expected. If so, the TDS pins will not be able to collect enough data.
2) Bad contact
The connection pins must be clean and dry for good performance. The connection pins are located at the bottom of the buffer tank and on the buffer tank holder. Please beware if there is any coffee or liquid left there. Clean the pins with slightly damp towel.
3) The cleanliness of glass brewing tank
Recommend to clean the glass brewing tank from time to time.
How to clean your glass brewing tank:
(i) Clean your glass brewing tank with 100ml (~3.5oz) of white vinegar. Note: Do not exceed 120ml of white vinegar to avoid activating the siphon effect.
(ii) Let it sit for 15 minutes.
(iii) Pour away the vinegar
(iv) Rinse thoroughly your glass brewing tank with clean water before your next coffee brewing.

(1) Make sure the milk frother is plugged into a working 120V electrical outlet.
(2) Make sure the power switch is turned on.
(3) Make sure you select the function and push the ON/OFF button.
If the above suggestions do not resolve your problem, please contact us via customercare@wabilogic.com or call 1-844-WABI-008.
For optimal milk froth, use cold semi skimmed cow milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6 °C /39-43 °F). To guarantee hygiene conditions, use heat treated milk (pasteurized), refrigerated & freshly opened only.
Milk that has been frozen will not froth.
Non-fat or skimmed milk provides the largest foam bubbles and is the easiest to froth for beginners. Since there is no fat in the milk, the result is light and airy but the flavor is not as rich as other types of milk.
2% milk will also foam effortlessly as well as add a more creamy taste than non-fat milk.
Whole milk is more challenging to achieve perfect froth as the fat in the milk weighs down the foam, however, this produces the most decadent, rich-tasting cappuccino. Practice incorporating the right amount of steam into the milk to produce an authentic microfoam cappuccino.
To ensure hygienic conditions and proper maintenance of the milk frother, it is highly recommended to not use special enriched milks, powdered reconstituted milks nor flavoured milks.
Suitable for plant-based milks like oat, soy, almond and other non-dairy milks.
Good froth is using fresh, cold milk.
(1) Fresh milk gives the best foam. Do not leave milk on the counter after use as this can affect the freshness of the milk.
(2) Milk should be cold. Use milk that has been taken directly from the refrigerator and start frothing immediately. Always put the milk back into the refrigerator when done using.
(3) Types of milk which are ultra-pasteurized, the proteins in the milk are destroyed and do not support the milk bubbles in the foam. These types of milk may not easy to achieve a thick froth; these milk work better for lattes (warm milk)
(4) Always wash and clean your milk jug after use.
(5) Never froth steamed milk.
(6) Never add fresh milk into milk that has already been heated.
(7) Make sure frothing disk kit is installed properly.
(8) Pay attention to the recommended MAX levels for milk frothing and heating (warming).
- Before cleaning always remove the plug from the socket.
- Never immerse appliance or cord in the water.
- Only use a soft damp cloth to clean the exterior.
1. Jug: It is appropriate to clean the jug in a dish-washing machine, or use cold water and an appropriate amount of mild detergent to gently clean the inside of jug till it is not sticky and finally use a dry towel to wipe it dry. It is not allowed to use any strong detergent and hard cleaning tools such as hard nylon brush or metal brush to wipe or clean the jug in order to prevent the surface of jug from being scratched.
2. Jug lid: It is necessary to take the jug lid away from the jug and then clean it in a dish-washing machine or directly clean it with water (Note: It is not allowed to use the water at more than 80°C to clean the jug lid.)
3. Body of machine: It is necessary to use a soft and wet towel to gently wipe its heating plate.
4. Stirrer: It is necessary to take it out from the jug, clean it with clean water, wipe it dry and then keep it in a safe place.
