To make it, start by preparing the spiced maple pecan syrup: simmer maple syrup with crushed pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of vanilla until fragrant, then strain out the solids. Brew one or two shots of espresso (or strong coffee) and steam your milk of choice until frothy. In a mug, mix the espresso with the syrup, then pour in the steamed milk and top with foam.
