A Caramel Brûlée Coffee is a decadent, dessert-inspired drink that combines the rich, smooth flavors of caramel with the boldness of coffee. This special coffee features a shot of espresso or brewed coffee topped with steamed milk infused with caramel sauce and sometimes a hint of vanilla syrup. The drink is then finished with a luxurious layer of whipped cream, which is traditionally sprinkled with sugar and caramelized with a kitchen torch to create a brûléed, crispy topping, reminiscent of a crème brûlée. The result is a delightful blend of sweet, creamy, and slightly caramelized flavors, offering a cozy and indulgent treat perfect for winter or any special occasion.
To make a Caramel Brûlée Coffee, start by brewing a shot of espresso or a strong cup of coffee. While the coffee is brewing, steam the milk (or your preferred milk alternative) and stir in the caramel sauce and, if desired, a splash of vanilla syrup. Once the milk is steamed and frothy, pour the espresso or coffee into your mug and add the caramel-flavored milk. For the finishing touch, top the drink with a generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle a thin layer of sugar over the whipped cream. To create the signature brûléed effect, use a kitchen torch to carefully caramelize the sugar until it forms a golden, crispy crust. Enjoy your creamy, sweet, and slightly crispy Caramel Brûlée Coffee, perfect for a cozy winter treat.
