The key to its signature taste and texture lies in the shaking process — the espresso is vigorously shaken with brown sugar and ice, creating a lightly frothy, well-chilled base with a caramel-like sweetness. The drink is then poured over ice and finished with a swirl of oat milk or your preferred milk, offering a balanced flavor that’s both strong and smooth.
To make this drink at home, brew 2–3 shots of espresso or use a strong coffee concentrate. In a cocktail shaker or jar with a lid, combine the hot espresso with brown sugar syrup and a generous handful of ice. Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until the mixture is chilled and slightly foamy. Pour the shaken espresso into a glass filled with ice, then top it off with about ¼ cup of oat milk (or any milk you prefer).
