Lime-Infused Iced Coffee

Ingredients

2 shots of Espresso (chilled)
3 limes: Juice of 2 limes, 1 sliced lime and lime zest
1 tbsp. sugar (or other sweetener) + 1 tbsp. of water
Sparkling water (optional)
Ice cubes

Directions

In a small container, combine the lime zest, lime juice, sugar, and water. Microwave until the sugar dissolves. You can also prepare the syrup on a stovetop. Set aside, cover, and let cool.
Fill the glass with ice, pour the lime syrup, lime slices, and sparkling water. Next, add the chilled espresso. Stir to combine, garnish with lime slices and lime zest, and enjoy immediately.
